Mommas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys!

While helping Daddy organize shelving in the basement, Landon found an old cowboy hat and seems to think that it's pretty cool!

A baby's curls are no more!

After a few more comments stating how cute our little girl is...we decided it was time to get Landon's FIRST hair cut and a difficult decision it was! Assuming that once cut his curls won't return, we realize that our baby boy is now a little man! I guess it has been long enough. He is now a precious 18 month old! I can't hold on. Landon's growing up is inevitable.

Gotta Start Sometime

What an adventure it has been. Since my last "post" in May with Landon's birthday picture so much has gone on. I keep telling myself that I need to get back to our blog, but finding the ideal time to do so is hard! Realizing that I just "Gotta start sometime" I sit at my work desk today, eating my lunch, I thought I would submit my first post in a LONG time!

We listed our house on Cheshire Rd for sale in May and were blessed to have it sell is 8 days. What a great house it was for us as we started our lives together. Brandon had lived there for a number of years and made it very easy for me to join him there and bring Landon into the world! Before walking out of that house for the last time, it was Landon's room that brought me to tears. But... onto bigger & better things.

Did I say bigger? We moved into a Small two bedroom apartment over Memorial Day weekend. It was the best temporary housing situation that we could have asked for. The office staff was amazing, the amenities that the complex offered were great and the love that they (staff and neighbors) showed to us... ok... Landon, was wonderful! Landon is such a charmer and always put a smile on faces of those we'd see. Our big grassy "front yard" and the swimming pool for the summertime were a wonderful perk not to mention all of the sidewalks and great paths for walking outside with a little man who LOVES to be outside.

On June 22, a shovel went in the ground to begin construction on our new home! On October 23, we got the keys and took possession!! Each and every day brought changes and it was exciting the see the progress. Brandon and I enjoyed every step of the way and would absolutely do it all over again. What a fun process!

Now that we are moved in, the office is organized and we're getting settled, I am excited to attempt more frequent posts. Daily? Probably not, but if I'm lucky I might get to a weekly post.
