Well.........

Brandon and I went for our Ultrasound on Friday morning. We did decide NOT to learn the sex of our growing bean! However, the nurse gave us the results, well stapled in a piece of paper, just in case we ever get the urge to look! So far, we are not tempted.

We are 19 weeks into the pregnancy. Beanie is growing well and is measuring as he/she should be. We are scheduled to have another Ultrasound in 2 weeks. The Dr. was hoping to see the face to check for Cleft Lip and Palate (a routine check). We will also re-evaluate the kidney. There is a slight bit of fluid in the kidney and there shouldn't be. It is a minor problem that most often fixes itself during the pregnancy. If not however, the baby will be on antibiotics for a short while after birth. It is nothing to be overly concerned with at this time.

We are proud to share pictures of our little Beanie... though not such a bean any more...

Spine/Ribs

Feet

The bubble on the right is the belly.
As you move left across the picture you can see the knees,
ankles and feet. The bubble on the right is the top of the head.
The small floating ball is right right hand/fingers.
In the middle of the picture is the left forearm, hand and fingers.
The legs are visible on the left of the picture.

Your little one is really growing. It is hard to believe that you are already almost 5 months along. Before you know it you will parents.

We are so excited for you both. It is tempting to know but there is no bigger surprise in life than when the doctor congratulates you on the birth of your child.
